Description
The Department of Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago is currently looking for a Clinical Nursing Consultant II to work as a chemotherapy infusion nurse in our Cancer Center located in Berwyn, Illinois. The RN is responsible for administering chemotherapy, providing patient education, as well as other delegated tasks necessary to care for the patient. The candidate should have clear knowledge of the nursing scope of practice relative to assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of infusion therapy in an outpatient setting.
Qualifications
Current RN licensure in IL, Bachelors degree in Nursing preferred. Two to three years experience as a chemotherapy infusion nurse in an outpatient setting required. Current certification in ONS preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) abilities are a plus. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. No weekends.
