Candidate must have excellent customer service and leadership skills. Responsibilities include personnel management, training and competency testing, compliance with accrediting/regulating agencies, preparation of operating and capital budgets, annual purchase orders, inventory control, new assay and instrumentation verification/validation, and quality assurance. Overall operation of the Chemistry laboratory on three shifts.Qualifications
Minimum of BS in Medical Technology required. Masters degree in a scientific or related field preferred. Also required are ASCP certification as a MT and five years of experience as a clinical laboratory technologist in a clinical laboratory of a hospital or out-patient clinic, two years of which must have been at a level comparable to that of a supervisor (Medical Technologist II). Demonstrated excellence in verbal, written and technical skills.
