Description
The Medical Technologist II oversees and coordinates the activities of the subordinate technologists, technicians, aides and assistants performing a variety of tests of a moderately or highly complex nature in a fully automated laboratory. The Chemistry Laboratory has the following discipline-specific areas: Blood Gas and Critical Care Testing, Toxicology and Immunoassay Testing, Automated, High Volume Profile Testing and Miscellaneous manual methods. It is a high volume fast paced environment.
Qualifications

 

Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences is required for this position, plus a minimum of two year’s experience as a Medical Technologist I.  

 

Beckman Total Lab Automation and reference lab experience desired.
