Our state-of-the-art Neuroangiography Suite provides a full spectrum of high-level care for neurological conditions like aneurysm. The system's enhancements — including combination 2D/3D imaging — allows for improved diagnoses and more precise interventions, and procedures are done with a decreased radiation dose. Our Neuroangio Team is dedicated to providing the highest level of treatment for serious neurological conditions like aneurysm.

Dr. Fady Charbel is head of the Department of Neurosurgery at UI Health. Dr. Fady Charbel is an internationally recognized clinical expert, researcher, and educator in the areas of stroke, cerebrovascular diseases (brain aneurysm), cerebral blood flow metabolism, and complex cerebral tumors. Active in developing new technology, Dr. Charbel's work has led to innovations in medical devices and surgical simulators, including the NOVA system. Charbel has been invited worldwide to lecture, teach, and demonstrate complex surgical procedures. He is the Dr. Richard L. and Gertrude W. Fruin Professor of Neurosurgery at the University of Illinois College of Medicine.
