The NIDCAP Center is part of the Women's and Children's Nursing Services within the Children's Hospital. The center is devoted to improving behavioral and psychosocial outcomes for infants born prematurely by educating both staff and families to provide sensitive, supportive care during a period of immense brain growth and development.

The NIDCAP Center provides training in the NIDCAP methodology, in addition to general education in developmentally supportive care for fragile infants. Training is authorized through the auspices of the NIDCAP Federation International
