Center for Pelvic Health

Our Program

Pelvic health disorders are some of the most common, yet least discussed, problems among women and men today.
Oftentimes individuals are hesitant to seek treatment because these disorders can be embarrassing or they don't know what to do or where to go. The Center for Pelvic Health at UI Health is committed to restoring the quality of life for men and women with pelvic floor disorders.

The term pelvic floor refers to the group of muscles that support the opening of the pelvis. These muscles and their surrounding connective tissues keep pelvic organs functioning correctly by holding them in place. A pelvic health disorder can encompass anything from your abdominal muscles, to your buttocks, or pelvic region.
