Outpatient Neurological Rehabilitation

Outpatient Neurorehabilitation Center

The evidence supporting the need for rehabilitation services following hospitalization, particularly for those with neurological involvement, is well established. At the UI Hospital Neurorehabilitation Center, clients are given the opportunity to enhance their current abilities while addressing their limitations through intensive practice. Patient-centered care provided within meaningful and challenging activities enhances client satisfaction and promotes recovery as clients work towards their personal goals. Interdisciplinary care provided by physical, occupational and speech therapy services in a synergistic manner has proven to be an effective mechanism for increased outcomes, cost-effectiveness and quality, evidence-based practice.
