Dr. Joan Briller practices in the Division of Cardiology at UI Health. Dr. Briller is director of the Cardiovascular Program for Women, which is devoted to identifying early predictors of heart disease among women, and she specializes in providing state-of-the-art cardiac screening, prevention, and therapy services for women. Dr. Briller has a long-standing focus on pregnancy-associated heart disease, and her research focuses include projects addressing maternal morbidity, mortality, and pregnancy-associated heart failure, and gender differences in cardiac risk factors and therapy.
