Dr. Patrice Frederick is a board-certified laparoendoscopic surgeon at UI Health. Dr. Frederick's clinical interests include the surgical management of reflux disease, abdominal wall hernias, and diseases of the gastrointestinal tract using the latest robotic and laparoscopic techniques. She performs an array of general surgical procedures, in addition to endoscopy, and she is passionate about providing quality and compassionate surgical care. Prior to joining the UI Health, Dr. Frederick was active introducing novel laparoscopic and endoscopic techniques at multiple community hospitals. Dr. Frederick is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is a member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons. She has published multiple peer-reviewed papers and has authored a surgical textbook chapter.
