Dr. R. Peter Lokken specializes in Interventional Radiology, Interventional Oncology,  Transcatheter Arterial Chemoembolization (TACE),  Yttrium 90 Radioembolization,  Percutaneous Tumor Ablation,  Percutaneous Biopsy,  Portal Hypertension Management,  Hepatobiliary Intervention,  Dialysis Management,  Arterial and Venous Thrombolysis, and Uterine Fibroids. Dr. Lokken enjoys all aspects of interventional radiology and the education of medical students, residents, and fellows. He is a board certified radiologist, certified by the American Board of Radiology. He completed his medical degree at Harvard Medical School followed by a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA.  Dr. Lokken completed a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the University of California San Francisco. After completing his fellowship, he served as an interventional radiologist at two major hospitals in San Francisco, St. Mary's Medical Center and St. Francis Memorial Hospital.
