A big THANK YOU to those of you who participated in this year’s Illinois Medical District (IMD) Guest House Golf Outing. This year was the most successful year ever. The event brought in over $115,000, an increase of 48% from the 2014 event, which is the equivalent of more than 3,500 nights of service for patients families and outpatients who stay at the guest house.

This event brings together a variety of industries all with the same purpose, supporting our patients, their families, and the IMD community. The IMD Guest House provides the comforts of home and care of community to outpatients and their families through convenient and affordable temporary lodging. The maximum nightly rate to stay at the Guest House is $60. Money raised for the Comfort Fund enables the Guest House to reduce fees on a sliding scale for long stays. It also and provides financial support for guests who qualify, so that nobody is turned away for financial reasons. By participating in this event and partnering with other organizations in the IMD, we are better able to provide more resources that contribute to the health of our patients and communities.

Thank you again for everyone who helped with the fund raising and participated. It was your hard work and dedication that lead to such a successful event.
