Interdisciplinary Memory Clinic
The Interdisciplinary Memory Clinic team is co-directed by Drs. Eitan Kimchi and Nikita Maniar. Our program provides a team approach to evaluate and care for patients with memory and other cognitive disorders due to all forms of neurodegenerative disease (e.g. Alzheimer’s disease, Lewy body disease, and frontotemporal disease), stroke, and other medical and neurological conditions.
The Interdisciplinary Memory Clinic is staffed by a team of dedicated and highly trained psychiatrists, neurologists, neuropsychologists, geriatricians, pharmacists, and social workers, with access to the newest and best clinical and research tools available to evaluate and treat memory and other cognitive disorders.

Approach to Care
Our primary focus is to meet the complex needs of patients and their families using a multispecialty, collaborative approach. We provide a comprehensive evaluation, including assessing and addressing all health and well-being issues with the patient and their family or caregiver.
Once our evaluations are completed, our team conferences to produce a comprehensive, multidisciplinary treatment plan. We provide immediate feedback to the patient and family/caregiver on a course of action.
Our primary focus is to develop a personalized treatment plan for each patient. Memory loss and other related symptoms are often complex. The specialists at the Memory & Aging Clinic conduct a comprehensive examination that assesses intelligence, academic skills, memory, language, attention, problem-solving ability, visual-motor skills, sensory-motor functioning, and emotional functioning to develop the individualized treatment plan for each patient. This initial evaluation accomplishes an assessment typically taking two or three visits at other hospitals.
We are committed to helping our patients live well with memory loss. As each patient begins their treatment and attends follow-up appointments, we will help them manage symptoms, discuss the impact of their medical conditions on their memory, and help them find ways to increase their overall quality of life.
