Fertility Preservation Program

Oncofertility Consortium When you're facing a serious health condition that may affect your future ability to have a child, you can count on the compassion and expertise of the fertility specialists at UI Health.

A number of conditions and their treatments can affect future fertility. They include breast cancer, cervical cancer, leukemia, severe endometriosis and autoimmune diseases. Fortunately, there are ways to help preserve fertility with these conditions.

Decisions about preserving fertility are based on a number of factors, including the type of condition, your age at diagnosis, whether or not the ovaries are affected, the proposed treatment plan, the amount of time available prior to the beginning of treatment.

UI Health's fertility team can help you understand your options and make an informed decision.
