National Kidney Foundation Educational Seminar

"Living with Kidney Disease and Transplantation" is a comprehensive seminar to educate attendees and offer support to those affected by or at risk for kidney disease, on dialysis, waiting for a transplant, or post-transplant. Patients, caregivers, and friends are invited to join this event in person and offered virtually for those who are more comfortable joining from the comfort and safety of your home. UI Health nephrologist Dr. Sajid Ansari will lead a session on "Early Detection of Kidney Disease." Expert clinical panelists will discuss:
- Advocating for oneself when receiving care
- Support for caregivers who care for someone with chronic kidney disease (CKD)
- Nutrition and boosting your immune system
- Aging and kidney disease
- Early detection of kidney disease
- Participate in a panel discussion with open session for questions
