Día de la Mujer is a cultural intervention program offering health education in Spanish, health screenings, workshops, awareness, and health wellness resources. Día de la Mujer is celebrating 21 years, nationwide, in 39 states. The Expo will feature something for everyone: A Marketplace; Literary Café with book signings; Tech Café; Home Décor; Beauty Pavilion; Young Latina Forum; Main Stage for Artists, Celebrities, and Entertainers; "Mi Cocina" Food Oasis with culinary demonstrations by local chefs; Education, Career, and Financial Empowerment Workshops; Travel Info; and much more. Visit the UI Health booths and workshops on Breast Cancer, Pre-Diabetes, Diabetes in our Children, Mental Health Wellness, Recognizing Stroke and Saving Lives, Advice and Truths of Pharmacies, and our UIC Latin American Recruitment Services (LARES) Admissions Workshop in the Education Section.
