Día del Niño Annual Walk and Family Festival at the National Museum of Mexican Art

Día del Niño (Children's Day) is a national holiday in Mexico, a day when families celebrate their children. Bring the family to celebrate Chicago's Día del Niño event promoting healthy and happy children. The day starts with a Health walk around Harrison Park for families to enjoy physical fitness - parents are encouraged to decorate their strollers! Families also can enjoy the free family festival, which includes games, hands-on art activities, health screenings, wellness education, fitness games, and live entertainment. Visit UI Health Wellness booths for pediatric dental education puppets and oral hygiene, children's body mass index screenings by pediatricians, nutrition activities, exercise games, pharmacist education, and medication safety. Parents can benefit from blood pressure screenings, stroke education, diabetes pre-evaluations, and mammography appointments. Or hop on the UIC Bike Blender and learn how to make a healthy smoothie.
