National Kidney Foundation Educational Event
Saturday, October 19
The National Kidney Foundation of Illinois invites you to the "Living with Kidney Disease and Transplantation" presentation, a series of expert clinician-led conversations and panel discussions on kidney transplants.
The forum helps individuals with kidney disease or those in need of transplantation easily understand and access information related to managing nutrition; advances in medicine; how to arrange for a kidney transplant; insurance and paying for treatments; emotional and wellness support; and dialysis options. Following the programs' conclusion attendees have the opportunity to ask the experts questions.
Registration is at no cost and includes program materials, breakfast, and lunch. Attend the panel discussion with UI Health transplant surgeon Dr. Jorge Almario, and visit the UI Health Transplant table for information on our programs. Must be 18 years or older. Register online required at: https://www.nkfi.org/viviendo-centro or contact the National Kidney Foundation at 312.321.1500.
