Festival del Niño at the National Museum of Mexican Art

Festival del NinoJoin us in celebrating our community’s children and promoting healthy and active lifestyles at the Festival del Niño on Saturday, June 8.

This family-friendly day features hands-on activities, including music, dance, races, interactive games, and health screenings. You’ll also be able to visit the UI Health wellness booth to learn more about:

  • PATH 2 Purpose (P2P) Program for teenagers who want to improve their mood, learn coping skills to manage difficult situations, mental health and stress
  • Children’s body mass index screenings
  • Pediatric dental and oral hygiene health education
  • Medication safety and measurements

Parents can also benefit from stroke education, blood pressure screenings, lung cancer screenings, breast cancer education and referrals, hypertension, and kidney disease and transplant information.

The UIC College of Applied Health Sciences will also host a table to introduce high school students to various Health Sciences fields.
