Improving Quality & Access for Complex Surgical Care Symposium

The University of Illinois Chicago and the John H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County are hosting the “Improving Quality & Access for Complex Surgical Care in Illinois” symposium Thursday, Oct. 2, from 5–8 pm at the University Club of Chicago. This quality and safety symposium is designed for medical directors in Illinois.
“This symposium will provide opportunities for leaders to develop cross-institutional collaboration to drive improvements in access, quality, and outcomes for patients facing complex surgical conditions,” says Dr. Aslam Ejaz, a UI Health surgical oncologist who will be giving a presentation at the symposium on collaborative, multidisciplinary liver cancer care. “We will review evidence-based best practices and foster multidisciplinary partnerships that can have an immediate and direct impact on patient outcomes across Illinois.”
