National Kidney Foundation: Big Ask, Big Give Virtual Event

The National Kidney Foundation of Illinois and UI Health are hosting a comprehensive, four-hour training program designed to help kidney patients find a living donor. Whether you’re on the kidney transplant waitlist, a family member or friend supporting someone in need, or a potential living donor, this workshop is for you!
This virtual workshop will teach why living organ donation is important, how to share your story to find a donor and reduce waiting time, and what potential donors need to know about the donation process. Participants will also learn seven key strategies to help find a donor in a fun and interactive way. Registration is free, and includes complimentary parking, lunch, and all program materials.
