Get to know our provider

Dr. Zamah is clinically skilled in all aspects of infertility and reproductive endocrinology care. His particular interests are complex infertility and IVF, fertility preservation, and recurrent pregnancy loss. Dr. Zamah has been nationally recognized for his research with grant funding from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the American Society of Reproductive Medicine. He was awarded a three-year WRHR (NIH K-12) to study the molecular aspects of human and murine oocyte developmental competence. He plans on continuing his basic science research in collaboration with Dr. Carlos Stocco, Department of Physiology, at UIC. He has an impressive publication record with both clinical and basic science studies. One of his goals is to provide the most compassionate and outstanding clinical care for our patients. He finds it a privilege to help patients experience the joys of pregnancy and believes one of the most pressing clinical questions in reproductive medicine is what makes a healthy egg. He seeks to identify novel markers of egg quality with the ultimate goal of using this knowledge to improve IVF outcomes for our patients.
