The Rev. Bamncedile (Sydwell) Nkosi is a staff chaplain in Pastoral Care Services at UI Health. Mr. Nkosi is the evening staff chaplain who provides a compassionate, warm, and peaceful presence for patients, families, and staff. He is emotionally available and sensitive to the joys and struggles of others, he and brings an empathic and supportive presence to individuals of all diverse backgrounds, cultures, and religions. Mr. Nkosi models best practices in teamwork and bereavement support for patients, families, and staff. In addition to English, Rev. Nkosi also speaks Swazi, Zulu, and Afrikaans.
