Cathleen Schaeffer is a breast nurse navigator in Cancer Services at UI Health. Ms. Schaeffer works throughout the continuum of care to address patient needs; reduce gaps in care; provide education and assist in informed decision making; improve timeliness of care; coordinate complex care plans; address barriers to care; improve quality of life for patients and their families; and develop plans for long-term and survivorship care after treatment. She is both an Oncology Certified Nurse and a Certified Breast Care Nurse.
