Dr. Elliott Groves is the medical director of Structural Heart Interventions at UI Health. He specializes in interventional cardiology, and his clinical focus is on complex coronary and structural heart interventions. The Structural Heart Program at UI Health offers transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), transcatheter mitral valve repair and replacement, left atrial appendage closure, and interventions for congenital defects. Additionally, Dr. Groves is an expert in treating blockages in the coronary (heart) arteries, particularly those that are chronically totally occluded (CTO) and those with a large burden of calcification. He maintains many active research projects, including those in advanced coronary physiology, analysis of outcomes after structural heart interventions, and advanced imaging metrics.
