Dr. George Havelka is a General Surgeon with training in all areas of Vascular Surgery both via traditional operative techniques and endovascular procedures. Dr. Havelka completed his General Surgery Internship and Residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago following which he completed his Vascular Surgery Fellowship training at Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine. His scope of practice includes the treatment of aortic aneurysms, carotid artery disease, and peripheral arterial disease including lower extremity revascularization procedures. He is also a member of the UI Health Vein Center and Venous Disease Program. This comprehensive, minimally-invasive, clinic-based treatment program serves all chronic venous insufficiency diagnoses. Including, but not limited to superficial venous reflux, venous stasis ulcers, venous stasis dermatitis, varicose veins, and symptomatic reticular/spider veins. He is a board eligible member of the University of Illinois Faculty as an Assistant Professor of Surgery, Division of Vascular Surgery.
