Dr. Miriam Redleaf is an otologist/neurotologist and ear surgeon in the Department of Otolaryngology at UI Health. Dr. Redleaf's clinical interests include treating ear and facial nerve tumors and cholesteatoma, and performing cochlear implantation. She enjoys a local reputation as an outstanding ear surgeon and educator, and a national reputation for initiating and maintaining surgical educational programs in Ethiopia. Dr. Redleaf is one of just two women to receive the American Otological Society Award of Merit, the field's highest honor, and she has authored over 100 peer-reviewed publications on ear problems and their solutions.
