The Rev. Reginald Stevens is a staff chaplain at UI Health. Rev. Stevens utilizes his pastoral skills in spiritual support to patients, their families, and UI Health staff. He specializes in crisis management and grief counseling for patients, families, and staff that are suffering trauma or loss. Rev. Stevens brings a calming presence and active listening to assist those who are experiencing trauma, anxiety, anger, Illness, pain, and suffering. He is part of the interdisciplinary team for a holistic approach that contributes to the patient's overall health and healing. Rev. Stevens also participates in giving of sacraments, and he assists patients in filling out Health Care Power of Attorney (HCPOA) and other duties that may be assigned. He is a licensed and ordained minister and pastor of Immanuel Church of Jesus Christ.
