Dr. Simone Crivellaro practices in the Department of Urology at UI Health. Dr. Crivellaro specializes in robotic, minimally invasive procedures to treat urologic conditions, including prostate cancer, kidney cancer, and kidney congenital obstruction. He also treats benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and kidney stones in an outpatient setting via endoscopic techniques, including laser enucleation of the prostate and ureteroscopy. UI Health is a worldwide leader in robotic surgery and one of the first institutions worldwide to offer single-incision robotic urological procedures, allowing Dr. Crivellaro to deliver the excellent clinical outcomes with a faster recovery. He is an expert in uro-oncology and reconstructive urology via laparoscopic and robotic procedures, and he has published multiple scholarly articles on minimally invasive surgery, reconstructive urology, and related areas.
