Dr. Taylor Hicks is a board-certified vascular surgeon with training in all areas of vascular surgery both via traditional operative techniques and endovascular procedures. Dr. Hicks completed his general surgery internship and residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago, after which he completed his vascular surgery fellowship at Baylor University Medical Center. His scope of practice includes the treatment of thoracic outlet syndrome, aortic aneurysms, carotid artery disease, and peripheral arterial disease, including open and endovascular lower extremity revascularization procedures. He also is a member of the UI Health Vein Center and Venous Disease Program. This comprehensive, minimally invasive, clinic-based treatment program serves all chronic venous insufficiency diagnoses, including but not limited to superficial venous reflux, venous stasis ulcers, venous stasis dermatitis, varicose veins, and symptomatic reticular/spider veins. He is faculty member of the University of Illinois College of Medicine as an Assistant Professor of Surgery, Division of Vascular Surgery.
