Dr. Thom E. Lobe practices in the Division of Pediatric Surgery at UI Health. Dr. Lobe has a focus on minimally invasive surgery, and he specializes in treating neonatal cancers and pediatric urologic conditions. He developed one of the earliest programs applying laser therapy to treat pediatric diseases, and throughout his career has acquired a great understanding of advanced nutrition, metabolism, hormone therapy, skin care, and regenerative wound healing. Dr. Lobe has decades of experiences training pediatric surgery residents, and has been integral in many innovations and advances in cancer care.
