    • The Emergency Rental Assistance Program provides financial assistance to Chicago residents to eligible individuals and families who are at risk of eviction in order to stabilize individuals and families in their existing rental unit.

  • ComEd
    • If you are a ComEd residential customer and you owe for past due service, you may be able to make a “deferred payment arrangements” (DPA) which will allow you to make a down payment towards the amount you owe and then make monthly payments at the same time as your regular bill payments in order to pay off the past due balance.   • Peoples Gas
    • You may qualify for an extended due date if you receive government benefits or assistance. An extended due date gives you an extra 10 days to pay your bill. To learn more, contact Customer Service. You may also qualify for a Medical Certificate. Call 866.556.6006
  • The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)
    • Provides financial assistance to help customers on limited incomes pay their energy bills.

  •  Learning and Wellness Center (LWC)
    • Metropolitan Family Services offers center-based programming at its Learning and Wellness Center (LWC). Voted Best Day Care 2017, by Chicago Reader, the LWC provides full day care and learning.

  • Illinois Department of Human Services’ (IDHS) Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) provides low-income, working families with access to affordable, quality childcare that allows them to continue working and contributes to the healthy, emotional and social development of the child. CCAP can help families pay for care in center-based or home settings. Families are required to cost-share on a sliding fee scale based on family size and income.
