News at UI Health

The University of Illinois Hospital & Health Sciences System is proud to partner with the Chicago Fire Soccer Club as a way to more actively participate in our community and engage with the people we serve. Prior to every soccer game is an event called Firefest that allows Chicago Fire partners to interact with fans before the game. About 70% of the fans enter the stadium through Firefest, and on average about 20,000 people attend every game.

On August 10^th three of our employees (and one of their sons!) represented the University of Illinois Hospital and Health Sciences System at Firefest. The booth was a success and our volunteers were able to engage over 200 potential new patients. Many thanks to Zulma, Teresa, and Juana for going above and beyond for UI Health!
