DePaul basketball player Billy Garrett Jr was treated by Dr. Lewis Hsu, director of the pediatric sickle cell program at UI Health, for sickle cell disease. "No one has heard of anyone with Sickle Cell Disease performing at the level he [Billy] does" says Dr. Hsu.
