UI Health Recognized as ‘Socially Responsible’ Hospital

UI Health has been recognized among America’s Most Socially Responsible Hospitals by The Lown Institute.
UI Health received an “A” grade on the healthcare advocacy group’s 2024–25 Hospitals Index for Social Responsibility. The report evaluates health systems on their performance across metrics like community benefit, pay equity, and inclusivity.
More than 3,500 hospitals and health systems participated in the report. UI Health was named a Top 5 Illinois hospital for inclusivity and earned “A” ratings in the following subcategories:
- Health Equity
- Value of Care
- Community Benefit
- Inclusivity
- Avoiding Overuse
- Racial Inclusivity
