My cousin suggested Mile Square Health Center when I was starting my family over ten years ago. It has been a great experience. Through all my pregnancies and deliveries, I received care from the midwives at the Near West Side location. They listen to your concerns, never rushing. During two of my pregnancies I was able to participate in the group prenatal appointments. You gain a lot from interacting with other moms who are delivering about the same time. I liked hearing not just my baby's heartbeat, but all the other babies' heartbeats!
Now I take my children to Mile Square Health Center for their immunizations, check-ups and when they are sick. I love their doctor, Dr. Rajagopal. She interacts with my children like they are her own, always concerned about their development and our family as a whole. It's reassuring to me that each of my children is receiving the care and attention they need to stay on top of any issues.
As the mother of six children under ten, I really appreciate the scheduling convenience and ability to get in and out when I have an appointment. If I call and leave a message, I always get a call back. Everyone is polite and helpful. I feel fortunate to have such great, compassionate care right in my backyard.
