Hospital Patient & Visitor Identification System
For the safety of our patients, visitors, and staff, UI Health has implemented a new visitor identification system and check-in process.
Visitor’s photo will be taken at the concierge desk when they arrive and will appear on their visitor pass.
All hospital visitors will be asked to provide a government-issued photo ID to receive a visitor pass when visiting for inpatient, hospital outpatient, or non-clinical visits.
Examples of government-issued photo IDs include the following:
- Driver’s License
- State ID
- US Military Credential
- Permanent Resident Card
- Readable International Passport
- Matricula Consular ID
The new visitor pass will include:
- Visitor’s Name
- Visitor's Photo
- Destination in the Hospital
- End Visit Date
