Our Approach to Treating Gynecological Cancer

When you choose UI Health's gynecologic oncologists, you get comprehensive care from a team of experts using the most effective treatments available.

These treatments include the latest in radical and minimally invasive surgical procedures, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and clinical research trials, in addition to experimental therapeutic trials.

We offer laparoscopic or robotic surgery whenever possible and collaborate with other clinical services, including radiation therapy, hematology/oncology, surgical oncology, pathology, and radiology, to provide the best treatment plans.

In order to offer this comprehensive cancer care, our team conducts a weekly tumor board conference where all cancer cases are reviewed by expert pathologists and radiation oncologists, who also are members of the National Cancer Institute-sponsored Gynecologic Oncology Group.
