Adult and Children’s Environmental Health

Environmental hazards significantly impact the health of individuals and communities by exposing people to harmful agents and by disrupting life-sustaining ecosystems. Our Environmental Health group provides services and collaborates with state and federal agencies, community based organizations, and global partners to protect the health of workers, children, and communities from environmental hazards. We work in the realms of water quality, air pollution, environmental chemistry, industrial hygiene, occupational and environmental medicine, toxicology, environmental epidemiology, and environmental health policy.
