Our Doctors & Staff
Our clinical team partners with you to take care of your healthcare needs. Your care always is supervised by one of our attending physicians, generally Dr. David Marder or Dr. Daniel Bakston, and they are supported by residents who also are licensed physicians. Your visit will begin with one of our nurse practitioners, who will take your history and evaluate your condition. The nurse practitioner will work with your attending physician to order any examinations, tests, or medications that you may need.
Physicians
Dr. David Marder is the medical director of the UI Health Workers' Compensation Clinic and provides medical surveillance and advisorship to corporate clients. He has more than 25 years' experience in the field and is board certified in occupational medicine and internal medicine.
Dr. Daniel Bakston is the director of the Occupational Residency program at UI Health. He is board certified in occupational medicine and also serves as the medical director for the Ingalls Occupational Medicine Program, with oversight of four occupational medicine clinics in the Chicagoland area.
