Most, but not all, patients diagnosed with breast cancer need some form of medication as part of their treatment. At the Center for Breast Care at the University of Illinois Hospital & Health Sciences System, our medical oncologists are specialists in the treatment of breast cancer.
We have a thorough knowledge of the complications, side effects, and psychological needs that breast cancer patients experience. Our doctors work closely together every day and can coordinate treatment efforts across different disciplines.
