Dr. Testai's clinical interest includes the diagnosis, management, and prevention of both ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke. He is the principal investigator of several clinical and basic research studies pertaining to cerebrovascular diseases and has published important articles in his field. Dr. Testai was formally trained in biochemistry and received his PhD in neurochemisty from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. He subsequently obtained his MD degree and specialized in neurology and in vascular neurology. Dr. Testai is a Fellow of the American Heart Association and is board certified in Neurology and Stroke.
