Dr. Andrea A. Pappalardo practices in the Division of Pediatric Allergy-Immunology at UI Health. Dr. Pappalardo specializes in the care of patients with asthma and environmental, food, and drug allergies. She also treats adult and child patients with atopic (eczema) and contact dermatitis. Dr. Pappalardo works with her patients to find the best, most comprehensive approach to their medical care, and she believes that the family, physicians, and medical neighborhood should work together in addressing allergy and asthma problems. Dr. Pappalardo serves as the asthma medical director in the Coordination of Healthcare for Complex Kids (CHECK) program, and her research focuses on addressing health disparities in asthma.
