Dr. Alison Newman is a Clinical Health Psychologist in the Bariatric Surgery Program at UI Health. Dr. Newman specializes in conducting pre-surgical psychological evaluations for patients pursuing bariatric surgery. She also follows patients pre- and post-operatively to address any co-morbidities or concerns related to surgery or weight loss.
