Dr. Vladimir Vidanovic practices in the Department of Pathology at UI Health. Dr. Vidanovic is the director of Coagulation, overseeing operations in the laboratory and serving as clinical consultant in utilization/interpretation of various tests that are instrumental in diagnosis and management of bleeding and thrombotic conditions. He also serve as the chair of Laboratory Utilization Committee, a multidisciplinary advisory group at the interface between the laboratory and clinical services that reviews test-ordering practices, requests for new tests, and seeks continuous improvement in laboratory-testing process. Dr. Vidanovic is one of the attending physicians on the Blood Bank/Transfusion Medicine Team, which also provides services in Therapeutic Hemapheresis.
