Dr. Sujata Gaitonde is a transplant immunologist at UI Health. Dr. Gaitonde provides comprehensive and patient-individualized immunologic consultation for kidney transplant and stem cell transplant patients. As director of the Transplant Laboratory, she has made significant contributions to the internal kidney transplant paired donation program. Dr. Gaitonde also is a hematopathologist and plays an important role in hematology-related diagnostics.
