Dr. Akanksha Srivastava is a maxillofacial prosthodontist and implantologist at the Craniofacial Center at UI Health. Dr. Srivastava focuses on providing care to children and adults with reconstructive needs, including cleft lip and palate, head and neck cancer, craniofacial trauma, and other acquired orofacial conditions. She specializes in craniofacial implant and prosthetic rehabilitation and also provides care to patients with advanced oral rehabilitation needs, including full-mouth rehabilitations, implant-supported "fixed teeth in a day," and zygomatic and pterygoid implants. She works with the multidisciplinary team at the Craniofacial Center and utilizes state-of-the art digital technologies to enhance her patients' oral rehabilitation outcomes.

Dr. Srivastava is a Diplomate of the American College of Prosthodontics. She was awarded the highly prestigious Programme de Bourses d'Excellence pour Étudiants Étrangers scholarship from the Quebec government for her PhD training at McGill University. Dr. Srivastava also received a highly competitive award for outstanding postdoctoral research from the International Association for Dental Research (IADR) Behavioral, Epidemiologic and Health Services Research Group for her research conducted at University of Connecticut. She has published over 50 abstracts, books, book chapters, and manuscripts. She has won numerous awards for her academic achievements and presentations at national and international meetings.
