Adam Jackson practices in the Department of Neurology & Neurosurgery at UI Health. Adam’s clinical practice focuses on neurophysiology, electrodiagnosis, and functional mapping of the brain, spine, and nervous system. He works closely with surgeons to identify and evaluate important neural structures responsible for movement, sensation, language, and other neurologic functions, providing real-time information about their functional integrity during surgery.

Adam’s focus is Functional Neurosurgery, including Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS), where specialized neurophysiological recordings and functional mapping are used to help localize targeted areas of the brain and guide surgical decision-making. His interests include DBS for Movement Disorders, neurophysiological mapping in Epilepsy, and intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring during complex brain, spine, cranial nerve, and peripheral nerve surgery.
