Dr. Ahsan Wahab practices in the Department of Hematology and Oncology at UI Health. Dr. Wahab is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care for adults with cancer and blood disorders. He believes that every patient deserves individualized treatment and clear, open communication to help them make informed decisions throughout their care. Dr. Wahab's clinical interests include gastrointestinal cancers, benign hematologic disorders, thrombosis and hemostasis, and supportive oncology, with a focus on improving quality of life during and after cancer treatment. As an academic physician, he combines clinical care with research and medical education to advance cancer treatment and improve patient outcomes. He works closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive, personalized care while incorporating the latest scientific advances and clinical evidence into everyday practice.
