Dr. Rima Shobar practices in the Division of Gastroenterology and Digestive Diseases at UI Health. Dr. Shobar is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care for individuals with digestive and liver disorders. She manages a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, including acid reflux, irritable bowel syndrome, liver disease, and gastrointestinal bleeding. 

Dr. Shobar has a special clinical interest in inflammatory bowel disease and colorectal cancer prevention, focusing on early detection, surveillance, and personalized long-term care. She also performs diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures. Dr. Shobar believes in building strong partnerships with her patients through education, communication, and shared decision-making to improve quality of life and promote lifelong digestive health.
