May is skin cancer awareness month. Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in the US, with approximately 9,500 people diagnosed every day. Melanoma claims thousands of lives each year, and many go undetected before it’s too late. Skin cancer, including melanoma, is highly treatable when detected early. Don’t wait to get screened for skin cancer.
